Well, we're doomed to the second division. The players get their huge pay checks, whereas most of the fans (my family included) are renewing their season tickets at up to 280. A catalogue of comic book errors has cost us a first division place next season, notably in the QPR game. However, let's not talk about the past, because it is unbearable. Let's look to the future...
It looks like we're selling a load of players. Margetson is going on a free transfer, which is no bad thing. He's a good shot stopper but he never leaves his goal line. The same goes for Wright. Are they scared of catching a corner that's looped in to the six-yard box? From what I've been hearing, Nicky Weaver played a blinder against Jamaica in their World Cup warm up matches. The game looked like being another loss, mainly because their was a former City player in the Jamaican team, Fitzroy Simpson (Why did we sell him? Surely he is not as bad as some of the crap we've got now...). However, the game ended 0-0, mainly due to Weaver. If he puts in a few more performances like this, he should be our first choice keeper next season. Another one available for a free transfer is Brightwell, who has served the club well but is getting on a bit. Nigel Clough is going. He was on 11,000 a week. I can't remember the last time he played, so I will just say that he was crap (pretty safe bet, that...). Rosler has gone to Kaiserlauten (I think) on the Bosman ruling, so you will be seeing him in the Champions League next season. Kinkladze has gone to Ajax for 5.5 million (about half his value) after a bitter war of words with Joe Royle.. Heaney is going, but he was an Alan Ball signing and so cannot be worth any more mentioning on this website. Another Alan Ball signing is Martin 'Buster' Philips, who has done nothing. Ged Brannan is going back to Tranmere for less than half what we paid for him. He has not done much, except for that fluke in the 3-1 victory over Notts Forest. Gerry Creaney is another one who is on his way. Craig Russell is another one. I think we should hold on to him but Joe Royle thinks differently. Paul Beesley can go as well.
Nothing much has been happening recently on the Man City front, so visit my England page (Coming soon).

The Official Manchester City Homepage This is a site that I don't rate, because it is incomplete. I only tried one link though, and it didn't work. I suppose the shop is working though, the money-grabbing swines...
